L 3 Communications Remstar Vertical Carousel System 120 Move at 640 North 2200 West Salt Lake City, UT 84116

The Vertical Carousel NationWide Shelving moved for L 3 Communications has 16 carriers with intermediate levels and an adjustable posting board. An existing customer of NationWide Shelving's L 3 had to relocate the unit for their High Voltage Business Unit across their Salt Lake City campus. L 3 had been maintaining the machine themselves and quite afew things were not working when we arrived including the posting board and one of the three sets of photo eyes were turned off. These things were adjusted/repaired so we were able to turn them back on and realign them in the course of the relocation. All the employees in the High Voltage Lab commented on how well the machine ran after the move. Some of them have been there over seven years and said they had never it run so well and so quiet. It was a pretty straight forward project where we had to work with L 3 security. As a norm security goes were we go so some coordination is required for a smooth move. This project was completed with normal access with no special hours.
