Aurora Mobile Shelving at The Bureau of Reclamation in Boulder City Nevada

Seven mobile shelving systems supplied by NationWide Shelving are designed primarily for the storage of files, maps and archival documents. The electrical mobile shelving is being utilized by nine departments internally. One systems is dual access which means users can enter the asile from with end of the system. All systems can be locked down and secured at any given time. All have touch screen panels to allow for restricted access for additional security. All systems were installed over existing flooring utilizing twin ramp. Each department was able to consolidate all files into one central location. The evaluation process included comparisons of spacesaver mobile shelving vs aurora mobile shelving. The shelving consists of slotted adjustable shelves, adjustable dividers, security doors and back panels for security. The shelving installation was on both ground floor and second floor. The installation was done in phases so expertiuse in installation coordination was required for a smooth transition of The Bureau of Reclemation. All systems use decorative end panels. Multiple safely features were built into the mobile shelving inlcuding, aisle photo sweeps, isle entry sensors, and passive safety block. The systems are expandable for future growth. The mobile shelving meets seismic requirements for zone four.
