Michael Kors Retail Stockroom Shelving
Project manager Cody Hartman we assigned the project to install retail stockroom shelving at the Michael Kors store at the New City Creek Center in Salt Lake City. The project was extremely safety conscience. Safety badges, safety shoes, saftey vests, hard hards were required. The dock was level four parking, and the project was two floors up. So in a busy contruction site, delivery was by appointment only and required a great deal of coordination between vendors. The project included lockers, mobile shelving, hang bars, pegboard stored handbags, shoes, and sections for clothing on hangers. All tracks were anti-tip, and was checked by inspection for torque of 25 foot pounds. Foot pedal safety brakes were installed to prevent rolling on Pipp brand mobile shelving. Shelving was 9 feet wide and 3 feet high with particle board. Lockers were also Tennsco brand and Western Pacific. Electricians, tile guys, finish workers, were all working at the same time to complete the project on time.
