Ogden Valley Library branch first opened in the fall of 1995. Located in the Northern Wasatch Mountains just 40 minuets away from Salt Lake City, UT. The Weber County Library System serves the local community by providing popular materials and even hosts hot meals and health services for seniors, children and the public in need. The library provides programs and services which include after school programs, fax services, classes, book discussions and programs for children to learn & grow. 

THE SITUATION:

Ogden Valley Library needed extra storage space for books, magazines, DVDS, catalogs, and literature.

The dimensions for a Series 200B Bulk Storage System that has a width of 4 ft can range from 48” x 12’, 18”, 24”, 30”, 36”, 48” x 84”. Dimensions vary with W x D x H, and can be adjusted to meet your requirements. The Series200A Low Profile Shelving unit has a standard height of 7’, other heights are available, has magnitudes starting from 36”, 48”, 60” x 12”,18”, 24” 36” x 84”. Amplitudes vary depending on unit size; additional shelving can be added to any unit. 

Additional items can be purchased with the Boltless Shelving Unit to secure and enhance the shelving unit. Particle Board Decking administers a stable and solid shelf surface. If using standard light duty applications, a ½” thick board is recommended for use. If storing heavy duty applications, a ¾” thick board is recommended. Particle Board Decking sizes varies with width and depth. Another additional component which is offered is a Shelving Label Holder. The durable clear plastic doesn't crack, peel, fade, or fall off. The insert paper has the capability to reverse, remark, and re-insert when changes are required. With these labels, laser/jet inkjet paper inserts are included. Mobile shelf carts are constructed from heavy duty steel, and are available in a variety of sizes to meet needs. These casters can hold up to 1000 lbs per base, depending on size, and are used to hold shelving units so they can be moved around easier.
